Come and enjoy a guided Maxirace Recce Run with our very own elite athlete Christiaan Greyling on the 3rdand/or 4th of October 2020.

3 October 2020 Information

Start/Finish venue, Dutch Reformed Church Franschhoek, 29 Huguenot Road, Franschhoek. +- 28km.

Starting time 7:30 am.

Route information: Start at Church, up Kat se Pad into Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve, up to Perde Kop then Du Toits Peak and back down to Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve gate, down Kat se Pad and finish at the Church. From there, we will all go to Hey Joe Brewery for our Burger and Beer.

Fee: R225 includes: Guided recce run by Christiaan Greyling, Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve fee and a burger and beer. (Veggie option include when entering)

Lucky draws for each day: 50% discount on an entry to Maxirace Cape Winelands, a distance of your choice. Terbodore Coffee Roasters and GU Energy Labs giveaways.

Fitness Level Required: Moderate. Should be able to run 30km at a moderate pace. It will not be a sprint. This will be a recce run and Christiaan will give tips on the route, training and much more.

 

4 October 2020 Information

Start/Finish venue, Berg River Valley gate, Franschhoek Trail Parking, -33.935132 19.083035. +- 30km.

Starting time 7:30 am.

Route information: Start at Berg River Valley gate, Franschhoek Trail Parking, -33.935132 19.083035 from there we will go into the back of the Berg River Valley and back over the bridge around the dam and back to the Berg River Valley gate. From there, we will all go to Hey Joe Brewery for our Burger and Beer.
